Sun care products sustainably repacked

Beiersdorf’s proven sun care lines Nivea Sun and Eucerin Sun protection are now packed in cans made from 100% recycled aluminium supplied by can manufacturer Nussbaum. The aluminium used for the production of the cans consists of upcycled used beverage cans collected in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. Deep shaping is even more challenging using recycled instead of virgin aluminium. Thanks to a high level of technical expertise the unmistakable shape of the spray cans has been kept – and so have the popular compositions of the products. Nivea Sun spray mist provides pleasant freshness and leaves the skin feeling refreshed and silky. The formula is sweat-resistant, extra waterproof and offers immediate and long-lasting protection. The Eucerin medical aerosol sunscreen is especially suitable for sensitive skin. Both excellent examples of making customers’ favorite products more environmentally friendly.
